About Us
Our Founder:
Susan Sullivan
Susan launched her solo virtual assistance practice in 2003 and found herself on an empowering and uplifting journey of business ownership. She very quickly found her niche, or it found her, as she was drawn to partnerships with entrepreneurs, coaches, authors, and speakers providing administrative, marketing, and business support. Susan knew very early on that her passion was to work with clients who were using their gifts and passions to make a difference in our world.
Susan worked one-on-one with clients for over a decade before deciding to expand her VA practice. With the explosion of new technology, she realized that clients would need a wider range of services and she began growing her team of trusted and talented associates who each have their own specialties.
Before starting her second career as a VA, Susan supported C-level executives and led support teams in both the public and private sectors. She also served two terms as an elected public official for a California municipality.
Susan is an avid dog lover and enjoys traveling with her husband and going on adventures with her two free-spirited grandsons.
Robin Miles
Marketing & Social Media Strategist
Robin is our accomplished marketing strategist and stays current with the ever-changing and growing social media marketing arena so she can implement our clients’ digital marketing strategies.
Robin has worked with engineers and lawyers for most of her professional career, fine-tuning her skills in technical and legal document creation and exceptional customer service.
In 2013, Robin took her experience into the Virtual Assistance field and started her own business supporting other entrepreneurs with a variety of their administrative and marketing needs.
Robin and Susan began collaborating shortly thereafter and brings her experience and training as an integral part of the support team.
Robin is an introvert who can usually see both sides to any situation, making her a calming voice in many storms. Her favorite motto hangs in her kitchen: “You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.”
Meagan Albury
Web Designer & Creative Director
Meagan Albury brings years of business experience and humor to the team as their “Of course we have a backup!” person. Her combined backgrounds in human resources management, marketing, and small business ownership all contribute to her eye for what makes a WordPress website work for a company and its customers.
Meagan not only keeps all of our websites up-to-date and running smoothly but she also assists clients with new website designs, revamps, and regular maintenance. In addition to all things WordPress, she also offers creative content creation and a shoulder to laugh on.
Meagan enjoys taking long walks with her very bossy corgi, eating lunch for breakfast and reminding everyone to clear their cache.
(Not necessarily in that order.)
Our Happy Interns
Scrappy Doo
He decided that being adorable wasn’t a truly fulfilling life goal and is now our in-house Human Trainer. He keeps us fit with a strict regimen of jumping up and running to open the door. Then closing the door. Then opening the door. We’re happy to report that we’re up to 20 reps a day and our abs and hammies are fab.
Stewie
He’s our Chief Technology Flufficer. We’re proud to say he’s chewed halfway through his WordPress for Dummies guide and is almost able to pronounce “hypertext protocol”. He successfully dislodged Susan’s router twice and we think, although we cannot confirm, that he managed to stream Radio Havana Cuba live through Finnegan’s satellite ears for almost 13 whole seconds.
Kiki
She comes to INR with a BA in marine biology. But an allergic reaction to all bodies of water forced a career change. As our resident Administrative Purrsistant, she does an incredible job of decluttering our desktops by knocking loose pens and cups of coffee out of the way and making sure we recycle unwanted scrap paper into toys for homeless kittens.
Finnegan
Our dedicated Snack Safety Flufficer. He herds everyone together into the middle of a room for random treat inspections, monitors daily snack deliveries for freshness, and chaperones all humans to and from the INR kitchen.
I’ve worked with Susan Sullivan since 2013. Susan understands the big picture. She knows how to break it down into bite-sized pieces, organize the process, stay on budget and on time — all with a super smile and great sense of humor. Susan took me from the bones of a business to launching a successful social media campaign that took hours of planning and strategy sessions. She created just the right social media arc with timely posts, blogs, emails, and newsletters that captured the intended niche. I was a social media novice back in 2013. Susan’s knowledge and support, gave me confidence. Any presence I have on social media is directly related to her intelligent approach and handiwork. Susan’s expertise, skill sets, experience, response time and ability to anticipate were all immediately apparent to me, and continue to astonish me. Susan is a wonder!
